Who We Are
Founded by Starla and Bruno in 2026, Pup Platoon Is a Dedicated Duo of Pet Loving Caretakers Based in Port Orange, Florida
We're Starla and Bruno, two passionate dog lovers who believe every pup deserves an adventure. We created our dog excursion service with one goal in mind: to get your dog out, get them moving, and send them home the best version of themselves: tired, happy, and at peace. We know life gets busy, and we know your dog feels it when they don't get the outlet they need. That's why we do what we do. Every excursion is built around genuine exercise, fresh air, and real engagement, the kind that works both the body and the mind. We treat every dog in our care like our own, with patience, love, and a whole lot of enthusiasm. When your pup is with us, they're not just being watched, they're being walked, worked, and worn out in the best possible way. And when they come back through your door, calm and content, that's the moment that makes everything worth it. We don't just walk dogs. We tire them out, and transform your home in the process.
Hola! Meet the Founders
We Are Starla and Bruno!
Starla is a native born Floridian from right here in Daytona Beach. She's spent her entire life living here in Volusia county and has seen the area transform from what used to be dirt roads and woods to the thriving city it is today! Bruno grew up just north of Daytona in Palm Coast and has also spent most of his life watching this small Florida town explode in size!
Meet The Original Pup Platoon
Zeus
Great Dane/Labrador
Zeus was our second baby who we adopted from a litter of pups. His heart was as big as his legs were long! He was also a wonderful ring bearer!
Buddy
Staffordshire Bull-Terrier
We found Buddy at the Humane Society in Flagler County. He’s one of the sweetest dogs you’d ever meet. His likes include hogging the pillows and sheets on our bed and his dislikes include being nudged after he’s nice and comfortable!
Koko
Black Golden Retriever
Koko was our very first baby whom we adopted at 6 months old while traveling out of state. We were told that her upbringing was “rough”, but once she became part of our family, she emerged from her shell to show the world she was a true sweetheart.
